Description

Side of the skirt of my Worth Gown. Based on two similar examples in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Kyoto Costume Institute. Both feature a "Sunburst" pattern on the tablier of the skirt.
The Met. gown is a few years earlier than the KCI and is in a golden cream silk satin. The KCI is in pale pink satin.

Skirt just pinned in place.
